Andre 3000 Ft. Ludacris-I Know What You Sayin' (Cee4our Music)

I like to take parts to songs and create entirely new ones. This is a collaboration I've always wanted to see happen so I made it happen. The Andre 3000 verse is from Devin The Dude's What A Job off his 2007 album Waiting To Inhale and the Ludacris verse is from Tell It Like It Is off his 2006 album Release Therapy. The instrumental is Lil Wayne's Leather So Soft off the 2006 album Like Father, Like Son.  The CDQ version of the song is available for download at http://www.fileserve.com/file/3dXeaYT

Saigon Ft. Jay-z-Come On Baby (Cee4our Music)

My favorite producer of all time is DJ Premier. With that said, almost every blend I make starts out on a Premo beat. A lot of the time I'm not happy with how it sounds and I try another instrumental, but other times it fits perfectly. This is one of those times. The acapella is from Saigon's long awaited 2011 LP Greatest Story Never Told. I actually used 2 different instrumentals but I don't remember what the titles are.  The CDQ version of the song is available for download at http://www.fileserve.com/file/KgGCmzk

Beyonce' Ft. Notorious B.I.G.-Irreplaceable (Cee4our Music)

Another Premo beat, but this time I went a different direction with the vocals.  I think it's amazing how a Premo beat can instantly turn a song from any other genre into hip-hop.  I used Beyonce's Irreplaceable off her 2006 album B'Day and a verse from Notorious B.I.G.'s  Hypnotize from his 1997 post-mortem album Life After Death.  The instrumental is Jaz-O & Immobilarie's Love Is Gone from their 2002 album Kingz Kounty.  The CDQ version of this song is available for download at http://www.fileserve.com/file/Jex95f5

DMX & Jay-Z-New york (Cee4our Music)

This isn't the most original concept or idea for a song, but I think I executed it well.  Take 2 New York Hip-Hop Heavyweights like DMX and Jay-Z, add the instrumental of a classic Onyx song with their New York sound and you get this.  I used a verse from DMX's single Where Da Hood At from his 2003 Grand Champ album and 1 of Jay-Z's verses from 99 problems off his 2003 Black Album.  I also chopped up a few vocals from other prominent New York artists to create a unique hook for the song.  The instrumental is Onyx's Walk In New York off their 1995 All We Got Iz Us album.  The CDQ version of this song is available for download at http://www.fileserve.com/file/xfZ9s9r

Lloyd Banks Ft. Stat Quo-Get Low (Cee4our Music)

The thing I like most about this particular blend is that I don't really like either of the original songs, but I really like the song that I've created. The Banks verse is from Get Low off the 2005 Get Rich Or Die Tryin' Soundtrack and Stat Quo's verse is from his song of the same name off the 2006 compilation album Eminem Presents The Re-up.  The instrumental is Yes, Yes, Ya'll off The Geto Boys 2005 album Foundation. 2pac Ft. Scarface-Smile (Cee4our Music)

2pac and DMX are 2 of my favorite MC's, not necessarily because of their lyrical abilities, but because of the ability to convey their emotions, stories, and passions in their music.  Scarface and 2pac's Smile off of Scarface's 1997 album Untouchable is a hip-hop classic and has an emotional tone that was matched perfectly by the song's production by Scarface, Mike Dean, & Tone Capone.  DMX's Ayo Kato is an emotionally charged ode to his fallen friend Rudy "Kato" Rangel Jr. who died in June of 2003.  The track's production by Swizz Beatz helps make you feel everything that DMX is saying and I feel it does the same for Smile.  The CDQ version of the song is available for download at http://www.fileserve.com/file/qJwWHPQ
